We are thrilled to announce that the Owen Valley Patriot Choirs have been awarded a $9,000.00 Smithville Charitable Foundation Grant for our 2024 project, "RISE UP." This generous grant will fund a brand-new, competition-ready and safe riser system, replacing our well-loved (but aging) equipment.
This marks the third time the Patriot Choirs have been honored with a Smithville Charitable Foundation Grant, following:
"SETTING THE STAGE" in 2022, which equipped us with professional-grade lighting rigs and fixtures.
"ON THE ROAD AGAIN" in 2024, which allowed us to purchase a travel trailer for transporting equipment.
Thanks to these grants—totaling an incredible $46,000.00 over three grant cycles—we can focus more of our resources on student travel and scholarships, furthering our mission to serve the community through music and performance.
