If your child plans to play any sports at OVMS (5th & 6th graders also) or OVHS during the next school year, they will need a valid physical on file before they are allowed to participate.

Our annual Back-to-School Expo is scheduled for Sat, July 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at the Owen County Fairgrounds.
This will be a drive-thru parade. Students will receive a FREE backpack full of school supplies.
Children must be present to receive a backpack.

Owen County Public Library Summer Reading-Sign up starting June 1st! First Fantastic Friday program is June 2nd. All ages. (birth to adult)
The OVMS 7th & 8th grade choirs recently attended the Holiday World Music Festival and represented us well! Unfortunately, the choirs didn't get it to visit elementary schools as they usually do this year. If you know an incoming 7th grader interested in choir, it's not too late to join.
